ESSE Care’s Inaugural Summer Soirée Brings NYC’s Healthcare Community Together

Last month, we had the privilege of hosting our very first Summer Soirée at the breathtaking Shafer Clinic Sky Terrace, and what unfolded was nothing short of magical—an evening that perfectly captured the heart of what ESSE Care is all about: collaboration, connection, and putting patients at the center of everything we do.

There’s something truly special that happens when you bring together brilliant minds who share a common purpose.

With Manhattan’s skyline as our backdrop, we found ourselves surrounded by New York City’s most dedicated healthcare providers. From fertility specialists to Eastern medicine practitioners, from nutrition experts to pelvic floor therapists, the evening was filled with meaningful conversations that transcended the typical boundaries of our respective practices.

Welcoming Dr. Leigh Rosen to Our Growing Family

This soirée held extra significance for us as we celebrated the newest addition to our ESSE Care family—Dr. Leigh Rosen. After joining our Manhattan and Greenwich practices earlier this year, Dr. Rosen has already become an integral part of our mission to provide comprehensive, integrative reproductive healthcare. Her expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and fertility-focused care has been transformative for our patients, and seeing her connect with fellow providers throughout the evening was a beautiful reminder of why collaborative care matters so deeply.

“The conversations were inspiring and reminded us how powerful it is when brilliant minds from different fields come together with a shared mission—putting patients first,” Dr. Rosen reflected. Her words perfectly captured what we witnessed throughout the evening: providers from vastly different backgrounds finding common ground in their dedication to healing.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Referral Partners

As Dr. Goldstein connected with guests throughout the evening, she reflected on the incredible network of providers who make our collaborative approach possible. “This evening was New York’s brightest healthcare providers gathered in one space,” she said. “It’s a privilege to unite so many disciplines to connect, share, and envision a future of care that is truly integrated.”

The room was filled with the specialists who make our whole-person approach to care possible. Acupuncturists who help our endometriosis patients find relief beyond surgery. Pelvic floor therapists who understand that healing happens in the body’s own time. Nutritionists who know that true wellness starts from within. Mental health providers who recognize that reproductive health challenges touch every aspect of a woman’s life. Each conversation and each connection made strengthens the web of support we can offer our patients.

To every single provider who joined us—whether you’ve been a longtime referral partner or someone we met for the first time that evening—thank you. Thank you for believing in the power of integrated care. Thank you for trusting us with your patients and for allowing us to be part of their healing journeys. Thank you for stepping outside the traditional silos of healthcare to create something better together.

Creating Moments of Magic

The evening itself was thoughtfully curated by Hank Stampfl and his team at Revel Rouge, who transformed the Sky Terrace with Posy’s beautiful floral installations, curated gourmet bites from Marcey Brownstein, and music from DJ Cat Ouelette. As guests connected throughout the space, there was a palpable sense of community.

The soiree was a fun event, but it wasn’t just about socializing for us—it was about strengthening the relationships that ultimately benefit every patient who walks through our doors. When a patient needs surgery but also requires pelvic floor therapy, acupuncture, and nutritional support, we can seamlessly coordinate that care because of the relationships built during evenings like this one.

Looking Forward: The Future of Collaborative Care

As the evening drew to a close, we found ourselves filled with gratitude and excitement for what lay ahead. The conversations that began on that terrace will continue in exam rooms, treatment plans, and patient care decisions across the city. The connections made will translate into better outcomes for the women who trust us with their care.

At ESSE Care, we’ve always believed that the best patient care happens when providers step out of their silos and work as a team. This soirée was a reaffirmation of that belief and a commitment to continuing to build the kind of collaborative relationships that make truly integrated care possible.

To our new connections and longtime partners alike: Thank you for an unforgettable evening, and thank you for being part of a healthcare community that prioritizes patients above all else. We look forward to many more collaborations, conversations, and shared successes in the months and years ahead.
